Lol all? good :D Ahh fair enough! Another good thing about using the function is, once you insert a time variable into it and animate it, the function takes care of all the proportions, etc. I'm going to try and upload some videos of the polychora I've made.

Oh, sorry, my mistake, I do make them from polyhedra! ... well, my first intention was to make an interactive 3D object with them using Cinema, but I'm not that good. So I just built them in plain 3D. This one, however was relatively easy to animate,? but I didn't have any way of knowing the correct sizes and proportions of the figure

Yeah that's the thing, if you did want to produce the models through equations then you would have to use a different program. If you use Windows, then MatLab, Mathematica or Graphing Calculator are the way to? go, there are probably heaps more as well. If your on a Mac though then life is a lot easier because it comes with a built in program called Grapher, that's what I use. Hmm...have you tried making the polychlora from polyhedrons instead of polygons?

Thanks for the comment!, and the points!, hmm... about the functions, I'm not sure how to generate models from ecuations/functions on the Application I used (Cinema 4D), but still, I'll be very happy to learn about? that, I've made the whole set of regular polychora the "hard way", by ensembling them from regular polygons, but of course, they're just "flat" shadows, and I can't animate them correctly.

If you can grasp the concept of? a Cubinder, then It's relatively easy to understand? the Duocylinder; basically, the ring of four "base-to-top" connected cylinders of the Cubinder are now "fused" to one another, giving the smooth appearance of a torus.

If you see a? Tesseract, you can notice that It's composed of two "interlocking" rings of 4 cubes, one going on (x, y) and the other on (z, w), The Cubinder? has replaced the first ring of cubes with a square torus, and the remaining four have become cylinders... You can do this on both "rings" separately (as in the case of a Cubinder) or you can do it at the same time, thus obtaining this beautiful Duocylinder figure
