Hornby-Dublo vintage model railway Diesel Shunter Posted by: JimTLonW6
Video duration: 26 seconds The Hornby Dublo diesel shunter was a late model from the period when Meccano couldn't make up their mind about using plastic! It's a reasonable model apart from a huge fixing screw, and has reasonable haulage although I could use more! In this video it's doing very well with a short train of old, metal wheeled, Dublo wagons Related: hornby-dublo, model, railway, train, meccano, vintage, collector Display Video Comments | Hide Video Comments | Add Comment |

Hornby-Dublo Silver King and Bristol Castle Posted by: JimTLonW6
Video duration: 31 seconds 'Silver King' replaced the original 'Sir Nigel Gresley' in the 1950's and continued until 1959 or 1960. It's hauling the short-lived LNER coaches which had printed window representations rather than perspex. It's a serviceable locomotive, very reliable, but lacks the detailed valve gear of some of the other Dublo engines.
