@deh7335 and why is the i7 930 so weak as you say? an overclocked i7 930 @ 4.2 ghz is easily fast enough to keep up with 3 580s, if you run them? @ 2560x1600. I can verify this because I have almost the same setup as he does with 3 580s. Trust me you, the amount you spend on your graphics card your cpu doesnt matter. Its all about he performance. You dont need the fastest processor out there.

yeah i agree people don't understand that the cpu is not at all a bottleneck? for these GPU's, lol. and going to a 980x for me personally I don't really need but then again I guess i don't REALLY need 3 580's with a 460 PhysX, haha. And people don't understand this is my gaming rig if they want hardcore I may upload my servers and GUI building machine. I do actually have a quad-12-core AMD machine as a server along with a dual 6-core 12-thread intel which is strangely faster. thanks!

Good run, good vid. Of course expect the usual comments about bottlenecking from folks who, hate to say it, don't understand the topic well. My rig is similar but with a 980x at 3.9 and gpus at 825 and I do about 50k, so scores are in line. At such a low? res it's all pretty synthetic

Do the SSDs effect game fps? I don't care about loading times, I just want the best fps? and if it doesn't help fps I would rather spend the money on better GPUs.

Not really. I just a matter of high enough resolution and use good amount of FSAA levels ! Then it's also down to choosing GPU intensive games like Metro2033. It scales superbly and I really doesn't care much about the CPU being OC'ed or not - it's? all about GPU power.

I really don't think an OC 930 would be bottlenecking too badly. It is a quad core with HT. And real life tests are more important than synthetic benchmarks imo. Now obviously when running 3 of those bad boys he obviously has the moolah to spring for a 970. But that's not what this video is. And his "bottlenecked" score is higher than all? of yours i'm sure lol.
