The current system is installed in a 1999 Mazda Protege LX. Ha never ending ad dons and revisions is the main reason why i can never EVER release a? hardware or software module! Its my biggest down fall!

Everything looks like total crap. You would think that after learning as much as you have with the arduino up to this point you would have been able to find a way to clean up the garbage. With all that? being said, I am giving you an A+ simply for completing the project considering all the major hurdles you had to over come given your technical hurdles and limitations. Well done sir!!! I love never ending addons and revisions.

Good idea, and im starting to do this now with my new stuff. But at the time of this video i was still starting out with embedded circuits.? Im having some more fun with it and practicing in real work applications (Industrial door locks)

Hey, don't you want your Arduino back? Why didn't you just wire up an ATMega328p (new ones cost about 4 bucks) with the Arduino board in ISP mode so that you wouldn't have to use the? whole board? You could have written the Arduino bootloader to it, sent your program, and then soldered the new 328p to your circuit board (cardboard?). You can also set the fuses so that you don't need the external crystal.

Hey, thats quite cool! But some bells and whistles wouldn't hurt? ;)
