You are right, some people's eye color does undergo phenotypic changes over time depending on the environment, etc. but usually it is not drastic (not that I've read of it at least). Going from brown to blue? is way too drastic for phenotypical change. google her images or even youtube them, you will find those pics.

I find it difficult to describe because I enjoyed it so much. The immediate difference between? film and book is Tilo's appearance. For most of the book, she's in the body of an elderly woman. The film follows the book's plot pretty faithfully, but as a film it just can't do what the book does. The way Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni is almost poetic. It's like an incredible modern fairy tale and for what the recommendation of a random girl on the internet is worth, I recommend it.

persuasion was my favorite until the 2009 adaption of Emma came out. now it is hard for me to decide which is my favorite. for, in both, the cast was so well chosen and each person plays their character so well. this video is beautiful, it makes me? want to read persuasion again!! i love the novel. All the movies of Jane Eyre have had their highlights. Timothy Dalton in the 1983 version was great - he spoke the language of the time. Toby Stephens/Ruth Wilson 2006 showed their friendship and their passion. William Hurt 1996 did the best proposal (in my opinion). I think the feeling that is version is in 'fast forward' is correct......it is too much story to try and fit it all in in a 1.5 hour movie. This version has an outstanding cast - they just needed more time? to tell the story.

I totally agree. Rochester is supposed to be a man of the world. He has plowed his way through Europe, had several mistresses and grown quite blasé. He falls for Jane because she is not for sale like all the other women he has known. 2006 is? the only version that gets that.
