The supreme court ruled that RACE BASED control of immigration? was illegal. The laws were "repaired" with quotas based on NATIONALITY, which correlates roughly to race. Clearly less people can come in legally than we need, the laws have illegal (according to the supreme court) quotas restricting entry by race, the legal methods for getting a visa much less become a citizen? have idiotic waiting periods. Hi, I have been looking at this particular problem..I feel that we need our normal, regular thought processes to set goals, decide to? go to the the shop, make the best choices we can for our lives employing wisdom, practice Sila or the 5 precepts..but on a deeper level then mindfullness practice can feel very freeing..so we don't just stay stuck in the storylines in our minds that cause us stress or anxiety etc ? just a thought..

Here's where Jayar and? the rest part ways: the issue of legality and evidence. We know, when a child is being physically abused, that they are being hurt in some way. When a child is emotionally abused there is no definitive evidence of hurt regarding the child. I 100% agree with Jayar that mental/emotional discipline is much worse that base physical discipline, but the fact is that there's no way to regulate emotional abuse.
