3 devices, how do they compare? Note- Nook Simple Touch runs on Android and can be successfully modified to download files, read different formats and use different bookstores. In this review though all devices are used unmodified.

Closed Caption is available. Last week, we bought Nook Color from Barnes & Noble and was asked to post a review what I think of it. I posted a picture of myself with a box of nook on FB so some people asked more about nook, etc. This is basically my review on nook color.

Hey, many thanks! Once a while depending on wifi speed you have, it can be pretty good and fast and sometimes, no. In fact, in my video, there were a bit of editing just to speed it up if it takes a bit to load. In other times in video, I didn't even need to edit. If? you see at 3:09 - no editing at all. But if you notice at 4:02 for an example, it was a fast forward. :-) I like to speed things up so I don't waste any of your time watching the video, he he.

Thank you for? your review, very witty too. I am expecting a NookColor this week (although live in UK) - such a shame B&N can't team up with a bookstore over here to release it. Anyway, I'm looking to 'Root' the device and run full Android which will mean I can use Kindle app, as well as the ability to use it for other purposes too. I am impressed with the speed - several reviews have compared a Galaxy Tab with the Nook Color(rooted) - NC winds outright! Reading/Playing should be fun! ;-)

Oh lucky you! I'd love to have an iPad but damn, it's not cheap! I heard that iPad does have dictionary feature, too. Kindle does have it, too but have to manually search for it. Unlike nook? where can touch on one word and then it pops out. That's what I know, again.. lucky you! Ha ha.. have a great week. :-D

Problem solved, yes only if there is no money issue on buying a second one! I have an idea... put that on your xmas list for me, a new nook! Ha ha. Oh yep, can adjust fonts to smaller or bigger whatever fits your needs. The same goes with brightness, can adjust that. As for sun, one? time I was laying down on couch reading USA Today behind window with sun/bright outside. I adjusted to much less bright since I didn't need it. Good question about being outside, still too cold, ha.
