I saw true grit. Very slow going. I expected too much. The actor of maddie? did a good job, jeff bridges, as usual, was phenomenal.

I really got a little irritated listening to this review. People need to understand that this is not a remake of the John Wayne movie, it's another adaptation of the 1968 novel. Jeff Bridges is not trying to one up John Wayne, he's playing? the character more like he's portrayed in the novel. Read the book and you'll understand that the Coen Bros made a movie that truly represents the novel.

I agree with most of your reviews.? (ESPECIALLY Kick-Ass) I disagree with this. I thought True Grit was awesome, funny, and emotional. To me it deserves ALL the awards it's getting. (Music. AWESOME.) IMO, the John Wayne's was CRAP compared to this, especially the cast. I giggled when Paul said Wayne may have been better than Bridges. I think, like the other guy, that "Jeff Bridges can wipe his ass with John Wayne's face on that performance." Matt was also great but Hailee Steinfeld was LEGENDARY.

I went to see this at midnight on opening night I was so excited for it...too bad every cool moment was in the trailer and the ending was very anticlimactic. I agree very well done but at the? same time very disappointing...great acting though

it was enjoyable while i was watching it but i completely forgot about it after seeing it.... the girl was good? but i felt like the whole movie was resting on the girls shoulders.. you know?? imagine if she was like a shitty actress, i bet it wouldnt get as much acclaim as it is getting

I'm actually kind of surprised that this movie was actually rated PG-13. I kind of usually expect a Coen Bros. movie to be R Rated. But anyways, great review, guys!
