What about personal data like documents, music and stuff if my chromebook doesn't have an? HDD, do I have an online storage or something? This "everything-is-on-the-web-thing" is kinda confusing to me, I mean what happens if I download something? He sad nothing is local and there is no difference to me if I log into my own device or another one.

I'm not describing having privacy while I'm online. There no such thing as privacy on the web. Once your online you subject yourself and the? context you view to the web giant companies. That I don't care about. I don't like the fact that Google OS will have to be connected to the web in order to use your hardware, that they will always know what your doing at all times, and that they have all control to the OS.

I have yet to? see Chrome really perform as fast as people say. I have ran tests here and every site I opened was opened faster in Firefox, some up to 10-20 seconds faster.

It's an iPad in laptop form. That's basically what I get from all I've seen, watched, read, heard about this thing but instead of running Apps from the app store you have to pay for, you can just use web apps. Where's the ability to do any real creating with this? device? Is there a built in webcam? Can we even attach any devices to it? USB ports? SD card reader? ANY storage on it at all? If it's just a web app device it better be dirt cheap.

Let's say you're right. Now, since Chrome OS and the browser are basically the same thing, Google will still know? you're doing. So it doesn't really address that problem now, does it?
