This works in? NZ as well, I used this to get me and 2 friends into a night club without paying but instead showing my ID while saying the "do you know anything where you can just take that and be ok" the doorman was so convinced by it that when his friend was like "didn't they not pay" he was like "nah it's all good he has ID"

I get that if just anyone walked into a store and tried to give them blank paper, it wouldn't work. No way. But this guys makes his living off of stuff like this, he can make people do pretty insane things.. I wouldn't be surprised if he could get someone to do this, he probably just uses a whole lot of techniques that most people couldn't do. I don't know.. just my? opinion.

About the latter you're absolutely right. I just can't figure out what people see in homeopathy, creationism, astrology, acupuncture, NLP, and the likes. And also, Darren Brown hates fakes and does these shows (and tells you how he does it) just to expose them. I don't think its a fake. I know several people that are NLP practitioners. They have performed a few little tricks on me and i didn't think it would work but it did. But trust me, i? totally get how its hard to believe. But there is a whole science in this.

Dude its hard to believe but NLP (nuro linguistic programing) is legit. Like full on majors in that shit. He says he was worried about the subway system randomly, distracting the cashier. the cashier is then listening to what he has to say, and when he hands him? the money he said take it, it's fine it's fine. The guy then applies that to the money subconsciously. After all, why would somebody give you blank pieces of paper and expect it to work? and that is why it works.

I've worked as a cashier, and after you touch money long enough, you'll be able to feel that it's not money when you get a hold of it. Paper and money feel very different. If someone gave me paper as money, I would be able to feel it even if I'm not looking at it. You can also tell this is fake by looking at the first scene, how did he receive change for an unknown amount of money? As well, they showed the hot dog guy to trick you into believing that the other ones work. It's all deception.?

To be honest, I think this might be legit. Notice how it didn't work on the guy selling hotdogs? If English isn't the first and dare I say only language of the person you are trying to deceive, then this trick will have an even lower success? rate. If you try to communicate with them in their native language, their brain will process the "play with words" automatically. Whereas when you try this with a non-native speaker, you will have a difficult time.

This is suggestion, not merely catching a salesman who's not paying attention. You can see the jeweller flipping through the bundle of blank paper Derren gave him. It's not that they're not paying attention, Derren just made them believe (through many more means than the simple "take it, it's fine" alone) the bills they were given were actual? dollar bills.
