Now is it just me or did Hugh dodge the hell out of both of the questions about seed biodiversity and how Monsanto is CRUSHING it? He seemed to just start rambling on about how there's going to be a population explosion here and there and how Monsanto will save the day. The problem? lies in that because they are ending diversity, they kill off other staple crops that were already adapted to the climates be it hot or cold. They give a solution to a problem they started, thanks Hugh.

The issue is developing rapid train systems to export food, not give them GM white corn which rots their intestines. If you get? rid of insurance all together you still have to pay for services from your doctor! My point is that unless you force doctors and hospitals to lower their costs you really have no argument. The healthcare reform bill has driven these costs even higher. If you haven't looked out your window lately hospitals are expanding at an astronomical rate. Are they doing this because they aren't profitable or because healthcare reform has sent a windfall of cash their way?

I don't THINK Healthcare is a commodity like Gold or Oranges, it is! That is a fact. Do I think it should be free? Sure! We would all like someone else to provide their services for free? Is that realistic? Absolutely not. The only way to get free healthcare is to force doctors and hospitals to give their services away? Is that your solution? The system is broken and you are? arguing to make insurance companies fix it when they are not the one's that dictate the cost of care!

I'm sorry but you are confused. By law, hospitals have to treat you. Not only that but every major city has free medical clinics that are funded with our tax dollars. My point was that you don't see doctors and hospitals trying to offer their services for free!
