the "notched pickaxe" was a reference to 2 climbers that died on mount Everest. Some of his tools were found near the top. He had marked all the tools with notches. Thats proof that it's not a reference to Minecraft. The notched pickaxe was in Oblivion and Morrowind, I played them, I know.?
