I say it, because i read it on a Sun Press book about Java 1.1 that they took the garbage collector idea from lisp. But? i guess you don't know smalltalk, because if you do, you'll see that java is closer to Simula. Besides Alan Kay have said, when he come up with the term and idea of Object Oriented Programming he never imagined Java.

I don't think Peter is presenting it as fact, he is actually presenting the weakness of the dogma, that "human nature" has something unchangeable that we just need to accept. Even just the reasonable doubt shown by this study and many others? that relate the environment with crime, expose how ridiculous is the way we deal with aberrant behaviour as a society. It is a lot cheaper (in terms of energy and resources, I talk about real things, not about money) to give food to people than to jail them.

I was playing bass in a band in Dallas and on an a night off drove100mi to friends house then another 250mi to Houston for this show. Friend pulled some strings and got great seats. Steel Breeze opened OK, Billy Squire came out and sucked (people were actually booing) WHO rocked for about 3? hrs. I think the tickets were $20 and that was a lot back then. T was $5! GT! Later.

As much as I loved Keith Moon, I have to say this was The Who at their best I saw them on this tour in a sold? out Astrodome. 1 of the best shows I've ever seen. I still have the Tshirt that I've long since outgrown. I just can't throw it away. Rog and Pete's vocals never sounded better. Big John was amazing as always, and KJ was an awesome replacement for the late Loon. Entwistle is a huge influence on my bass styling. Still hard to believe he's gone. Musician extraordinare. RIP Keith and John

The thing is the 50% windfall tax is not really that much more than the 40% top rate of tax here in the UK. Anything you earn over? £37,400 you get taxed at 40% anyway. If you are getting over a £40,000 bonus then your salary is likely to be over £37,400 so you would be taxed at 40% anyway. The extra 10% is a bit a bloody nose to the bankers but I;m sure they will cope. A 90% wind fall tax would have been more appropriate.

"USB Memory" is a flash based memory. The memory added is like RAM...it's much quicker, and it probably has something to do with camera device needing quicker memory. I'm betting you can store the images on the USB drive, but you need the card to do that, too. What would be nice was if the SD card was hidden...so you didn't have to add? it.
