Stay Away from vaccines...my friends kid came down with FULL BLOWN Autism 6 days after being vaccinated!!!!!.. its not manditory to get vaccinated... do your research! ... you need to opt out of it by getting the right paperwork for? opting out! my friend did it and her kids are still in public school! get paperwork from school system. theres always a way!

And, while I do regret the tone and snarkiness of my original comment (I was very upset that my parents had spent a great deal of their money on this), I do think? that what they are doing has little to no support in scientific literature and is actively harmful to families of children with autism. I'm sorry if I offended you, best of luck with your child.

I am an active neuroscience researcher and I can almost guarantee that I've read the relevant clinical research? more closely and critically than you have. Nothing is ever "proven" in medical literature, we just get a little closer to the truth, and shadily funded, poorly-controlled, small patient size clinical studies with a number of potential conflicts-of-interest don't do a very good job of getting us any closer to the truth or helping people with developmental disorders.

Instead of being such a ssheep, do some clinical research from peer-reviewed scientific journals. Everything she's saying? has been proven in medical literature. Snake oil? You seem paranoid. thankfully the Body Ecology Diet and GAPS both treat paranoia!

Having Crohn's my gut can get so bad that my brain is in a fog, like I'm in another world. Going on the scd diet or the palo diet or the gaps diet clears my mind in about 12 hours. When I was younger it got so bad because I knew nothing about diet and I could not talk to people very good and It felt really good to? look away or to the side don't know why. I can get a clear mind now but healing the gut feels like its never going to happen.

I agree with the video although I have an ADHD son and an Autistic daughter whom were both breastfed until they were one years old and neither have every had an antibiotic. However I cannot say? the same for myself as a child. I have taken the pill but for no more than two years in my whole life. I am going to buy the book

Yes I have my little girl on the BED and Everything Donna talks about YCK is true!! My? little girl is no longer severe and we have been on the diet for not even a year. Chinese medicine herbs for brain infections. 10 yr ago I had an infection? of the brain,not medically proven but I had a low grade fever for 3 days and a slight ear ache that seemed behind my ears in the brain.After the treatment when I drank the herbs at home, I awoke 5 hr later with no fever but a huge head ache. I went back the next day and the Chinese doctor wanted to know why I visited him since I never had before, he said by the time MD's took all their tests I would have been dead.

How do you know that I have no experience with it? My parents recently spent a? huge (for us) sum of money on this, the latest in a long line (twenty years worth) of scientifically unsupported "cures" for my brother's disorder. To extrapolate from a few cases without statistically significant data is not only poor science, it actively wastes the time and resources of a group of earnest and hardworking parents who deserve far better. These doctors should be ashamed of themselves.

The book "Enzymes for Autism" by Karen DeFelice contains a great story about an older child who had autism and was completely non-verbal and pretty much non-communicative. The child ended up going away to college after recovering? through nutritional intervention.
