right on sab.you are correct,of course boxers,football players,etc.. are greatly affected, only that the direct cause is not from his brain being mashed. as a logical being i must admit it? dont help.i just wish we knew more about pd. On religion and science,evidence,proof and open minded,rationality trumps a 6000 year old book that doesnt even harmonize with it self. p.s. it fascinates and disturbs me that 2 billion believe in something that facts destroy..props to the F.F...

To say the innumerable blows Ali received to his cranium has nothing to do with his state today, is itself brain damage! It's now know that even moderated impacts / jarring to the skull - IRRESPECTIVE? OF PROTECTION WORN - causes permanent injury to the brain (see: class actions being formulated in the American NFL by a slew of ex-players suffering brain injury) The brain is 'suspended' in fluid. Trauma to the head causes the brain to impact the skull; like goldfish in a bowl.

... Alis is NOT his fault.Boxing,fighting etc.. does not cause parkinsons. Please study up and realize that 1 boxer has it.They do not know what causes it,but it is not from boxing or 100s of boxers would? have it,FACT. I implore all to research and get this ridiculous notion that boxing caused Alis.

He never got angry or sad?Heavy? drinking and fear he admits to 4 them 7 years,and he never said why me or was stuck in a pity party,he is fibbing,lying,and i get it.Hes a public figure & it took him 7 years of drinking,anger,fear,pity,and yes Why Me?He would not be human if he didnt go through those 7 years. I do wish he was more honest about those years,i think it would help others more if he showed more of his humanity.I respect & admire this man.He is an inspiration 2 all humans.He is amazing

DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) is a relatively new procedure for treating Parkinson's as well as Dystonia (though not many Dystonia patients will receive it because it is intended for Parkinson's patients). Both my mom and I have Dystonia, she had the procedure done this past summer and Im hoping to get? it soon. It is a miracle. She went from being in the wheel chair 95% of the time to running a few yards at a time in about 6 months. It is truly amazing!!!
