Iranians are strong, independent and freedom loving? They're just normal people. American economic power is and always has been partly a function of various government intervention (protectionism, curbing monopoly, etc.). This is simply a fact. You cannot wish it away. We don't have a "free market" never have had one, and your own Austrian definitions tell you that. The funny thing is, we'd probably agree about the Fed, but that isn't what Wray advocates anyway.
