I make jelly and jam every year, jelly is made with just the juice and the fruit strained off, for jam the fruit is left in but, not to be confused with preserves ...maybe this is an American distinction ...!? Still, I loved? the recipe!

in the UK, we have Jam, which is what they call Jelly in the US, that's the stuff used in this video. Here in the uk we have Jelly, which they call Jello in the US which is like, the cubes that you mix? with water and wait for it to set etc :)

Personally I think Jam is made? from all of the bits of the fruit, and jelly is made from the juices squeezed from them? I might be completely wrong though.

Well, no they're not. While we in the UK and Ireland put jam on our sarnies the yanks put actual jelly? on theirs. Its proper jelly with gelatin, not just boiled fruit and sugar.
