Gnarlita2, it could have been a lot worse. The skirts weren't micro-minis, like the '60s and '70s, they came directly to the center of the thigh. I, myself, hated the shoulder pads, hair that was bigger than your head, and the? excessive makeup and jewelry.

Yes, the vid leaves a LOT to be desired, but hey, it was only 1980...I think Donnie is great,? LOVE the song, but the model makes me remember why I hated being in h.s. during the Reagan era--horrible fashion, knee-length skirts, etc. Yech!

Donnie Iris is awesome! I came across this song when it was first released in Australia back in the early 80's I think. I loved it instantly and it didn't get enough media exposure and faded here quickly. It's such a pity that he never got the recognition he deserved or support from the stinking thieving media and record companies. He is still performing today and he's? nearly 70! He still sounds as hot and I wish he would come to Australia because I'd buy a front row ticket. Donnie you rock!
