You're right, it's a bit of a problem in these countries in? society and media, but at the same time you have to understand that Korea is much more homogenous than Mexico and India. That's why all the Koreans in Korean drama's 'look Korean,' whereas lighter, more European features tend to be more admired in those other countries (where some people do possess them,) so that's what you'll see more in their media.
