I can understand and respect your opinion but I do not think it is fair to generalize that belief for all Mormons. I love gay people and I am LDS. Belt" as some people call it)--that is Utah, and parts of Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Cardston, Alberta, Canada, and The Mormon Colonies in Chihuahua, Mexico--I was still engrossed in the Mormon culture. All of my family and close friends were LDS. There are 14+ million Mormons and if you were to ask all of them to answer one doctrinal question on Mormon beliefs, you'd likley get 14 million different answers. to JPNJ238- I read it all...the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Doctine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, as well as our church magazines. It all compliments the Bible. I believe that we wouldn't have the Book of Mormon without the Bible. Not only does Latter Day scripture compliment the Bible, it helps to complete it. You should find out for yourself. I would? love to answer that question. I do read both the Book of Mormon and Bible often. My favorite stories include that of Moses and him opening the Red Sea and the Lord Jesus Christ calming the sea of Galilee in the NT when his apostles were frightened when he slept. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Atonement allows us to overcome sin and return to God. He lives now and restored the Church he set up before he died. let me know if that helps

@randyreal574 I think it's great that you are interested in the church, absolutely wonderful :) My question to you, is that why would God and Christ limit their teachings to those of the Mediterranean, when there are so many other peoples in the world? Christ himself tells? his apostles after he is resurrected that he has other sheep not of their fold, and that them also must he visit. Who would that be? It makes sense that he would visit the peoples in the Americas. God loves all his children :)

Thats my opinion anyway nothing against anyone. I just think that Jesus took the high road for a reason. To show that you can have love without sex without these wants. Also anyone who try's to say that Jesus & Mary Magdalene had a thing going on. That not only gose against what Jesus stood for but also against the whole reason Y God put him here for. Ppl don't know how to handle love with one person how could many lovers work.? What matters is Jesus died for you, so try 2 live just like he did.
