You just go into import on pinnacle with the flip camera in and it should come up, double click it then it will import entire contents of camera. Or just move all the footage onto desktop? whatever and drag into pinnacle it will import (you can do that with sounds, music and pictures as well) And yes you can make dvds just I haven't figured it out yet. Though you pick dvd menu screen ect.

Flipshare doesn't count as an editing software heres why... 1. If u can't do effects, it's not an editing software 2. If u can't even do a cut transition, it's not an editing software 3. Even if u count this as an editing software, any software available on PC sucks. 4. You can't even do any real editing on this piece of crap. My? advice, stick to Final cut pro/express. take it from a previous flip owner and future film maker.

Have a Flip and like to use Movie maker, but hate converting the file? Well, here's a simple solution (you do need a USB Flash drive, but a 1gb is like, $5 at Wal-Mart) to get them there without the hassle of converting them. This was made by using this technique.
