Yeah, I personally think it's better. It's familiar to WoW in certain ways that it's not like learning a whole new mmo and you can jump right in but Rift doesn't hold your hand nearly as much and the content and player base just seems more mature. As others have said, check out Rift Lite and you'll be hooked and you can upgrade for like 15$ and? get a free month as well. :)

Rift isn't perfect, but it is a solid MMOG. If you're bored of WoW you're going to feel burnt out with Rift. There are some unique features such as Rifts,? Invasions and the Soul system. I expected Rift to be a massive hit, but it never even broke 1 million subscribers, even at launch. It's down to 200k now. The game is sadly dwindling fast. I just spent $30 on a CE and now I regret it. It's down to 15 shards, and it badly needs another merger.

People who are still playing WoW are suffering from nostalgia and social dependence on their community they've build up over the years, and Blizzard knows this all too well. oh crap. i just realized you mean "Good" and "evil" lol Yes. Pretty much, Defiants or Guardians are the "good" and Regulos is the "evil." However, Defiants and Guardians also see? each other as evil, so even though you work together occasionally, you not-so-secretly want to blow up their face.

Good: Craft your ultimate fantasy class and have fun doing? it. PVP is fun because you never know what the guy your wailing on can do. Zone wide invasions and rifts make it interesting. You could log out and it be completely calm and log back in with 20 rifts open and monsters running around everywhere, wiping out quest zones. Then the entire zone fights them back and you get rewarded for it. Nothing better than that. Bad: Lackluster, but passable PVE outside of rifts and invasions.

I absolutely love this game. It's fun, it has great? graphics and voice acting, and most of all, it's creative. The one thing i don't like is the level cap. RIFT has a lvl cap of only 50, while Maplestory (which is pretty boring and a bit stupid) has a cap of 200. Also, I would have been amazed if a character who looks just like my main on RIFT jump out of no where and start beating the crap out of the monster even even though I knew what would happen. :D
