I was a fan of DMB way before Phillips came along, but you can't blame Phillips? for having the voice he has. He is a good singer also and I enjoy watching him. He was born with his voice, that can't be helped, and I actually do NOT think the voices are that much alike. Dave's voice is much more unique (only one of him) but Phillips has some flirty smiles along with his performance. Dave doesn't flirt..he doesn't have to. :-)

This was a good movie for it's time and is still worth watching.How the crew made it with the limited resources and obstacles they encountered making it,is a real credit to everyone involved.It's a pity the? director didn't go on to make more movies he rightly deserved.But he was up against the fucken left wing government run film industry. Interesting point about the stunt. I always thought it was Grant Page. He was Australia's leading stunt man at the time, and? did do a lot of stunts in the movie. Whilst i don't doubt you, it was probably like the chase scene in Bullitt- about 6 people are credited with that.

That's the stupidest comment I've seen in a while. I'ts a competition show, Dave already has a record deal,? and had it before the show existed. Dave doesn't need it, Phillip does, you're an idiot, it's not a question. It's common sense. Is any of this getting through to you. I was actually surprised. When I heard that Phillips performed a Dave song I was thinking "Crash" "Ants Marching" or maybe "Crush." I loved the fact that he choose a random? deep album cut that probably nobody except for big Dave fans know. I'm a huge Dave fan and I love this song and I think he covered it well. Stone is not ancestor of COB in any ways. Latvala joined COB in 2003 and it was formed in 1993 as IneartheD by? Alexi Laiho and Jaska Raatikainen. So it is impossible for Stone to be ancestor of COB. These bands have nothing to do with each other except that Latvala joined COB 10 years after it was formed.

The saddest thing for me was when Chicago switched to a ballad band after Terry Kath died. I really loved their horn sound. I would also throw in Blood, Sweat and Tears along with Chase as great horn sections. If I rate TOP's horn section as the best, its because they played with everyone; if you needed that funky horn sound for your record, you called TOP.
