Proper turmeric (Curcuma longa) isn't? ginger (Zingiber officinalis). There are many ways to adulterate a product and selling it with another name. Just to make an example: a 90% ground turmeric with a 10% ground saffron mixture is commonly called saffron here in Europe. It is a Iranian product. But the taste is really different from real saffron (Crocus sativus), even if the colouring effect's the same. Can you tell me more about ur turmeric version? It's really interesting!

i dont recommend using tomato soup but if you want a similar taste using regular fresh or canned tomatoes, just add baking soda to your recipe just before serving then stir until the mix? stops bubbling. swear to god it works. it neutralizes the acid taste and will make the recipe very smooth. don't overdo the baking soda or it will taste like soap.

I have had the UK version and it is so liquidy and has like a weird taste to it, no one can make? it better then here in cali its more rich and creamy and has the perfect masala taste!! I would only take your chicken and put it in there because your chicken is more sour as well and better but the masala NO ONE could beat cali's. Sorry folks brittains isnt that great at all...

Thank you for this amazing recipe; it is fantastic!! :) My wife's favorite Chicken Tikka Masala is from Swagat in Portland, Oregon. We just made this and it tastes JUST LIKE Swagat's! We added 1/2 cup chopped Cilantro to the marinade and baked it with the chicken and added 1 Tbsp? fresh ginger to the marinade and the sauce and it is PERFECT! PS> Garam Masala is available at Safeway.

I actually tried this recipe, and although the chicken ALONE was AMAZINGGGGGGGG!!! I LOVE THE FLAVOR IT GAVE WOOW!! the masala? part was not so great just to much tomato sauce and paste all i tasted was literally tomato's not the actual way to make tikka chicken masala so im trying a new one i found along with your chicken of course, cant say no the this type of flavored chicken.

actually its not unusual especially now a days, its either ghee or it actually is olive/veggie oil. depending if they are vegetarians or not. And if you cant cook your chicken after its marinated, on the bbq grill, a lot of people just use a plug in grill or even the? oven, i prefer the oven because i know it will cook the chicken all around more better then just putting it on a plug in grill. But you dont marinate chicken in the oven. thats not what she did.

oh my god... isnt name obvious that it is a mixure of ginger garlic paste ??? grate ginger into fine small pieces then grate garlics into average size pieces (if small garlic, then use as it is. now add both the contents to a mixie and make sure initially u run for 10 seconds without water then add water based on the amount of ginger / garlic inside the mixie jar to make it a paste. keep grinding in the mixie? till it becomes a fine paste. Ginger garlic paste is ready :)

Curry is any dish with liquid/sauce..meaning not dry/not masala..Curry as a spice? is combination of dried ginger/garlic pwd ,turmeric etc..In India, curry isn't use as a spice but individual spices are but outside India, curry has become synonymous with Indian food..:) Hope that helps!

@Curryking32000 - I made a load of CTM saice for my Glasgow based eldest son. He has it frozen in double portions in his freezer. I can't tell any difference from the fresh version, to be honest. In fact everything has frozen well (base gravy,? vindaloo etc) except Julian's onion sauce, which becomes a floppy mess (tastes ok though) after thawing.
