Let me put this all in perspective the difference between rap and hip hop. Hip hop gives off a message followed by lyrically stories things they have been through personal struggles. Rap they talk about anything but most sound the same no message, no stories just shit throw together. Hip hop has some giants KRS One, Rakim, Lord Finesse, Big L, Kool G, Biggie and Pac.
