no you don't, i've already tried this and only cut? one side (the end with the toes) and it worked just like she said. I thought you were supposed to cut both sides at first too.

This works soooooo good. I have thin hair so everything just turns flat in a few minutes? so I use loads of hairspray. I don't have to do this thanks to the sock curler
